I'm GETTING MARRIED!!!!

So I had a sudden notion to create a blog. Everyone has inspiration, and mine is backed by my new fiance who is typing this message for me... thanks for the secretarial work. As it's marked, I am now engaged, which feels weird because I've been so used to being labeled (however, I haven't been single for the last 5 months). My fiance's name is Kim, and she's the LOVE OF MY LIFE. I never thought I would be engaged in such a short amount of time, but when it feels right, it's right.
It all happened yesterday at our friends Liz and Bobby's house. We ALWAYS go over there to play Nertz (a card game) so I thought I would surprise her by popping the question on a hidden card in her nertz pile. It worked out perfectly. I had Liz make sure to write the question on a joker (which is not used in nertz). At the same time we were playing the game I set it up so "our special song" played on the stereo (she loves when I sing to her the Joker, by Steve Miller Band).When she turned over the card, she had no idea what was coming. I got down on one knee, and I asked her to marry me. She said yes.
We have six months till we get married. The wedding will be in the Sacramento Temple on April 18, 2009. We are both very excited, and look forward to spending the rest of our lives and eternity together.
Anyways... thanks for being my scribe for this post Kim... but I think I'll take over the rest of them from here. They'll be lots more to come.
